The only problem is that their brains were apparently the size of chimps'...Oh, well, I consider that a minor detail. Am I the only one who keeps picturing Billy and Dom?

you are definitely not alone in that!

I totally envision Dom and Bills there! In fact, I caught myself thinking that they should be there b/c it might be their relatives, and then I was all.. oh. DUH!

LOL!

PS I tried talking about this to coworkers today but I forgot they don't believe in evolution so it got ugly.

Oh, shit. What a joy and pleasure it must be to work with them, day to day! I, of course, showed the NYT article to my brainy (and hobbit-loving) son, and he was like "Oh, the little people of Flores, I know all about them." And all I could picture were little Indonesian Doms and Bills!
